Is Vonwik Down Today? How to Check in One Minute (2026)

Short answer: if your login came from the original Vonwik, it is not down for today. It is gone for good. That service went permanently offline in June 2026 after a US court case, so every old line now fails in every app. If your line comes from a provider that is still trading, the outage is usually on your side and takes a minute to find.

Step 1: Work out which line you have

  • Bought from the original Vonwik, or renewed through its old billing page? It will never come back. Skip to the last section.
  • Bought from any current provider? Keep reading.

Step 2: The one-minute check

  1. Switch to your phone's hotspot and open the app again. If it plays, your internet provider is blocking the stream, not the service being down.
  2. Look at the error. "Invalid username or password" usually means an expired line or a typo. "Unable to connect" means the server address or the port is wrong.
  3. Close the app on your other devices. Most lines allow one screen at a time, and a second screen looks exactly like an outage.
  4. Ask your provider. A good one confirms in minutes whether its servers are up. If you get no answer within a day, that is your answer.

Step 3: If it really is the original Vonwik

Nobody can restore those accounts, whatever a support number or a lookalike site tells you. What you can do is ask your bank for a chargeback on the unused months, then pick a replacement carefully. We explain both here:

Quick answer: Zing and Shrugs were services sold through vonwik.com. Their servers went offline with vonwik.com in June 2026. The apps still open on a Firestick, but there is nothing behind them, so they will never load channels again. Can You Watch Vonwik on Roku? The Honest Answer and 3 Workarounds

Short version: not with an app. Roku only installs apps from its own store, and no IPTV player like Smarters or TiviMate is in it. You can still get your line onto a Roku TV in three ways. The Vonwik Court Case in Plain English: Who Sued, What the Judge Ordered

In one line: the people behind the original Vonwik were sued by the big studios, never showed up in court, and lost by default. The judge awarded $9 million and ordered the domains handed over. That is why vonwik.com stopped working in June 2026. Who sued Amazon, Netflix, Disney, Paramount and other members of the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE). The complaint was filed in March 2025 in the federal court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Who was sued One operator who had run IPTV brands since 2017: Beast Mode Live, BTV, Viking Media, GreenWing Media and, from late 2023, Vonwik with its Shrugs and Zing services.
