Vonwik Zing and Shrugs: Why the Apps Stopped and What Still Works

Quick answer: Zing and Shrugs were services sold through vonwik.com. Their servers went offline with vonwik.com in June 2026. The apps still open on a Firestick, but there is nothing behind them, so they will never load channels again. The errors you will see "Unable to connect" or "Invalid server URL" : the address built into the app no longer answers. An empty channel list : same cause. Start the player on the phone, then use Cast or Smart View. It works, but the phone has to stay on and the picture is softer. Option 3: AirPlay from an iPhone Most recent 4K Rokus support AirPlay. Play a channel on the iPhone and tap the AirPlay icon. Same trade-off as mirroring. Skip these "Vonwik Roku channel codes". Roku stopped private channels in 2022, so these do not install. Old vonwik.com logins. They fail on every devic...
